Is it really waterproof and stink proof?

Yes! The leash is made from dual-walled, coated webbing that’s completely waterproof bacteria resistant and odor resistant. It doesn’t absorb water or smells like traditional fabric leashes. Mud, rain, or puddle? Just wipe it down and keep walking.

What’s the leash length?

For hands-on control, the leash measures 5 ft from the collar clip to the ergonomic comfort-loop handle, giving you tight, structured control when you need it.

The detachable waist belt adds another 2 feet and can be used in multiple ways: wear it around your waist for hands-free walking, clip it to a post for quick breaks, or use it as a longer lead when held by hand.

That’s 7 ft of total clipped range (9 feet if the waist belt is not clipped/looped)—built for control, versatility, and real-life flexibility.

Every Stiff Leash™ includes a detachable, adjustable waist belt with a quick-release clip system. You can wear it around your waist for hands-free walks, sling it crossbody, or even clip it to a post or tree when you need a quick break.

The patented stiff-core keeps the leash straight from collar to handle, preventing tangles under your dog’s legs. It also helps reduce leash drag, twisting, and strain on your back during walks.

What size dogs is it designed for?

The Stiff Leash™ was tested and built for medium to large dogs up to 120lbs who love to pull (we’re looking at you, Huskies).

We’re working on a smaller version for little legends, stay tuned.

Where is The Stiff Leash™ made?

The Stiff Leash™ story started in our co-founder Mark’s garage in Nelson, BC, where he built and tested every early prototype by hand. Today, it's still done under his watch to make sure that anything that goes out the door lives up to the same Funky Furball standard that started it all.

How do I clean The Stiff Leash™?

Easy. Just wipe it down with mild soap and damp cloth—mud, dirt, and mystery smells wash right off. Forgot to rinse and now have a tougher stain? Gently use a magic eraser to lift it.
No soaking, no stink, no stress, and no clunking around your washing machine.

What’s your return or warranty policy?

We stand behind our products. If there’s a defect or manufacturing issue, we’ll make it right. If you’re unhappy for any reason, reach out—we’re real people who want you (and your dog) to love your gear.

We currently ship within Canada and the USA only.
